Sliema Youths demolished Mgarr in a game valid from the Youth League.The Boys in Blue went in search an early goal and after some few shots they took the lead in the 19th minute when Dalli served Dandolo who rounded the Keeper and slotted the ball in.

In the 34th minute Sliema where awarded a freekick outside the area and Gary Tanti managed to beat the Keeper with a fine shot in the top corner of the net.

Till the end of the first half Sliema controlled Mgarr pressure and the half time ended 2-0 for the Blues.In the second period Sliema where in total control and it was not a surprise they increased the lead by scoring 4 goals in just 6 minutes, Dalli, Dandolo, Chircop and Tanti combined some good actions and first Dandolo scored in the 60th when served by Chircop. Dalli scored twice in the 61 and 63 minutes when served by Tanti and Chircop respectively. It was then Glen Chircop turn to score from the spot when Sliema where awarded a penalty after an Mgarr player handled the ball in the area in the 66 minute.

Mgarr managed to score in the 68 minute when they where awarded a dubious penalty as it seemed that Vukovic foul on the Mgarr player was outside the area but the assistent referee flagged it was inside.

With 20 minutes left Sliema boys controlled the situation and tried to increase the lead when they had some good chances and in the 80th minute they did when Dalli added the seventh with a good run and a fine shot past Mgarr keeper.

In the 85 minute Chircop hit the post with a header but till the end the score remained the same.
