Robert Gatt has named 3 Sliema players in his final squad of 18 players of the Malta National Team. Henry Bonello, the Sliema Wanderers goalkeeper has made the cut for the first time and is rewarded for his excellent performances this season. He is expected to go on and follow the footsteps of his father and be Malta’s Number 1.

Alex Muscat and Ryan Fenech are the other 2 players to have made the squad. Alex Muscat returns to the squad following a long period out. He has regained full fitness recently and will be a very important player in the Blue’s quest for that all important European spot. Likewise, Ryan Fenech has enjoyed a very promising start to his second stint in the Blues shirt. Ryan defiantly possesses the ambition together with the skill and confidence to establish himself as one of Malta’s finest midfielders.
